Meet Melissa
Melissa Franzen founded A Petal to Remember, formerly Waterford Past-Thymes, in January 2000. For more than 25 years, she has been turning wedding flowers, funeral flowers, and blooms from life’s biggest moments into lasting keepsakes. A mother of two, Melissa knows how quickly those moments pass, and she pours her heart into helping families hold onto them.
Passion
Every flower is pressed by hand in Melissa’s North Carolina studio, using a chemical-free method that protects its natural color and shape. From wedding bouquet preservation to memorial flower preservation, she has created custom floral art for clients across the country.
